Cute little fairy Tinker Bell has another animated adventure aimed at little girls, and this time there are pirates! Despite the added swashbuckling, boys will still run a mile from this tale of a naughty fairy named Zarina (Mad Men’s Hendricks) who steals Pixie Hollow’s blue pixie dust and runs off to be with Captain Hook (Hiddleston) and the pirates of Skull Rock. It’s up to Tink and her friends to help Zarina see the error of her ways and return the dust to its rightful place.

Aimed at the under-7s, this is sweet stuff that they’ll enjoy, especially if they’ve already been enchanted by the other Tinker Bell movies such as Secret Of The Wings. Adults in tow will be disappointed that Tink doesn’t have any of the cheekiness she displayed in the original animated Peter Pan, but Hiddleston’s delicious vocal performance as a young Hook more than makes up for it.
