Tinker Bell And The Legend Of The NeverBeast

(2014)
Tinker Bell And The Legend Of The NeverBeast

Voices by Ginnifer Goodwin, Mae Whitman. (U)

Tinker Bell’s fairy pal Fawn takes centre stage in this cute and bright Disney animated adventure. She befriends a mysterious creature known as the NeverBeast, even though legend has it he will bring about the destruction of Pixie Hollow. With the Scout Fairies on the case to catch the beast, Fawn must convince her friends to save him.

Perfect for little girls who loved the previous Tinker Bell movies, this is an enjoyable tale, with nice vocal performances from Mae Whitman as Tink, and Ginnifer Goodwin as Fawn .The casting of Melanie Brown – aka Mel B – as Fury in the British version is a bit clunky, much like when Jonathan Ross did the voice of an ugly stepsister in Shrek 2, but it doesn’t spoil this otherwise sweet tale.
